NEW.... Visitors who would like to get the emails and my thoughts not seen on my site, can now sign up for this service.  You won't get phone calls, but you will get the inside information.  I don't show everything on the site as I do through emails to contractors.  This is a deal where you're paying a fraction of what the contractors are paying.  Here's what you don't get.  You won't get personal calls.  You won't get responses to contractor messages.  What you will get, won't be as immediate as what the contractors pay for, but in most cases it is the same.  Basicaly, your paying to help keep the website up and for front row seats.  Only about 25% of the information is shown on the website.

I would do this service free, but I'd appreciate any donations since I'm the only one I know of otherwise offering a free 5 week forecast and you know I always do my best to answer all emails.  Basically, your helping me keep a bunch of annoying adds off the site.  Your also helping me to make it so you don't have to use even more annoying passwords and log in stuff.  I personally hate that junk.

FOR SNOW CONTRACTORS

I try to have a plan to fit just about any budget and if I don't, I'll make one work for you.  I'll work with you.

All my plans are based on the number of events I believe will happen from now until the end of April 2012.  This season, I expect 12 events where an event is a treatable event.  Each event is considered, but not limited to, about a 25-36 hour time frame.  For example: If it snows on a Monday and again on Wednesday, then those are two events.  However, if it snows on Monday and Tuesday, that is one event.  Now, I'm honest.  If I pour 24 hours into getting ready for an event and sit there waiting for it to happen and it doesn't, then I'm not going to count that as an event [ for the per event price below]

I do expect an unprecedented 4 TH, 30" winter in a row for KC which has not happened in modern times.

PRICES:
    1.   If paid  before  November 10 th. The cost is  $1900  [20% discount]. This can also be paid in two payments with the first of $950 before Nov. 10 th and the second on February 1 st for $950..   This payment is for a full year of service if you wish.
    2.   $2280.  This is the cost if you wait until after  November 10 th to sign up. This can be paid in two parts with $1140 now and $1140 due February 1 st.  This option is also for a full year of service if you wish.
    3.   You can also just pay per event where the up front professional fee is $600 and then $300 per event with the $300 due within 7 days of each event.  This is not a full year service.  This is only for winter snow events, where an event is considered a treatable event lasting 36 hours or less and there would be a clear wording in the contract so there is no misunderstanding.

HERE'S WHAT YOU GET THAT ISN'T ON MY WEBSITE:
Options 1 and 2 are actually a full year service with the detailed focus being the winter season.  In other words, you'll continue to get inside information 12 months of the year, via private emails and my private blog which you'll have access to.  The blog is there if you want to direct your customers to it, or copy and paste my thoughts on your website.
Option 3 is basically only a winter service from now to May 1st and otherwise a gamble on on an easier pay option if it's a light winter.

With all options you get 24/7 personal attention with a real person during events.  Once you commit to the service, I'll immediately send you my current winter forecast and get you set up with a contract, phone contacts, email address, etc.   I have a full 24/7 staff during events.

Aside from what you see on the website, I send out personal emails to you on Sunday mornings for the week ahead to give you a heads up on my forecasts.  I'll immediately forward any warnings, warnings or statements from the NWS in emails.  I also have a private weather blog I use during the winter months that, if you wish, you can share with your customers.

During events, I always send out an email first, then follow it up with a phone call to whomever you want me to.  It might be you, your wife, a dispatcher, or directly to the drivers.  During events, all those people can call me anytime day or night.  All emails will include a current snap shot of the local radar and satellite image.

I'm also here if it's snowing bad in one area and not where a driver is, to tell you where you need to move your trucks if necessary.  I know you know this, but let me remind you, events can be hectic where the storm doesn't know if it's day or night or 3 AM.  On my end, somebody is always here for you if you need us. When I plowed snow, the best snows always occurred over night.
Aside from all the fancy weather tools I have at home and online, the two I rely on most is my experience and my ground thermometer.  In snow plowing world, there is likely no better tool than the ground sensor.  Even the NWS doesn't have that.

I find this a critical and likely one of the most valuable parts of my service- Usually within 24 hours after the event, I'll email a storm summary on who got what and when.  Using my snow plowing experience, I know it's easy to loose track of time and who you plowed what and when.  It's really difficult when we get into several events within a week and you may have to go back to re treat because of blowing snow, etc.  You'll have an official report on who got what and when.

All my prices above aren't set in concrete and I'd be happy to try to tweak them for you, because I know there are big and small companies and I'll do what I can to fit your budget.
